Tool technician

Job Summary:

As a Tool Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing the specialized tools and equipment used in our client's manufacturing and production processes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our operations, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues with a wide range of tools and equipment used in the manufacturing and production processes- Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address any tool-related challenges or concerns- Maintain detailed records of all tool maintenance and repair activities- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of replacement parts and supplies- Provide training and guidance to production staff on the proper use and care of tools and equipment- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a tool technician or in a similar role- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills- Proficiency in the use and maintenance of a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities- High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:This position is based at our client's manufacturing facilities and will require working in an industrial setting. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other potential hazards, so the ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment is essential. The schedule for this temporary position is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Compensation and Benefits:The target pay rate for this position is $27 per hour. In addition, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
