We are seeking a Machinist to support production by delivering high-quality machined parts and maintaining efficient shop operations. This role includes setup, troubleshooting, and providing backup support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine and fabricate parts/tooling from prints or without drawings
- Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes
- Repair or rebuild production tooling and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, including basic GD&T
- Work with Engineering on prototypes and product testing
- Design tooling/fixtures to improve efficiency
- Create purchase requisitions for shop needs
- Machine materials such as carbon, aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloys
- Collaborate with Sales and Engineering on estimates and lead times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred
- Strong math skills (trigonometry and analytical geometry)
- Blueprint reading required
- CAD/CAM experience required
- 2 years technical training and 3 years machining experience
