The Role
This is a sales-driven design role for individuals who understand that great interiors and strong client relationships go hand in hand.
You are not waiting for clients—you are building a book of business, developing relationships, and creating opportunities through both in-showroom experience and local outreach.
Growth is defined by sales performance, design execution, and client impact.
What You’ll Do
Client Development & Design Sales
- Actively build a personal client base through outreach, referrals, and local networking
- Identify and pursue opportunities with homeowners, builders, and design partners
- Guide clients through furniture, layout, material, and overall composition
- Present design solutions clearly—visually, verbally, and spatially
- Conduct in-home consultations and site visits when appropriate
- Own the full sales cycle: introduction through delivery and follow-up
Showroom Experience & Ownership
- Maintain a strong, intentional presence on the sales floor
- Ensure every client interaction feels guided, elevated, and design-forward
- Take ownership of the showroom presentation, including:
- Daily cleaning and tidiness
- Styling, organization, and upkeep of furniture and accessories
- Support visual merchandising
Execution & Detail
- Manage orders, timelines, and client communication with precision
- Maintain fluency in materials, construction, and customization options
- Collaborate with team to ensure consistency and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- A strong drive to generate sales and build relationships
- Confidence in guiding clients through design decisions
- An eye for composition, scale, and aesthetics
- Proactive mindset—comfortable sourcing your own opportunities
- Clear communication and a polished, professional presence
- Strong organization and follow-through
Preferred:
- Experience in furniture, interiors, or design-driven sales
- Familiarity with spatial planning and client-facing design work
