As Sales Manager, you will drive group and catering revenue by cultivating relationships within targeted niche markets, securing new business, and leveraging renovation milestones as compelling sales opportunities. You will play a critical role in introducing clients to a newly re-imagined DoubleTree experience while partnering closely with our hotel teams to ensure successful events from contract to completion. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

- Introducing clients to a newly renovated DoubleTree product
- Re-engaging past accounts with a compelling reason to return
- Building long-term relationships aligned with future demand
Proactively sourcing and securing new group and catering business
- Managing and responding to incoming RFPs and inquiries with urgency and creativity
- Negotiating and executing group and catering contracts
- Positioning renovation enhancements, timelines, and future product as key selling points
- Supporting overall revenue goals and sales strategy alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing & Sales Team
- Representing DoubleTree and HVMG with confidence, warmth, and professionalism
Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
- A college degree or two years of hotel experience
- Previous experience in a similar or related position
- Full service brand experience and Delphi experience is a plus
To be a successful candidate, you will need the following:
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
