What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRNP (Behavioral Health - Pediatrics) position at HVHS Brand?
Office Location: HV Pediatric Offices ~ Chippewa, Hopewell, Monaca
Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 - 4:30pm; one Saturday a month 8:00 - 12:00p; potential for two (2) 10:00 - 7:00pm shifts per month based on office need / staffing.
Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing pediatric/adolescent behavioral health patient care.
REQUIRED
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program; Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, PNP, or PMHNP) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; National certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent); DEA license with appropriate prescriptive authority (or eligibility); Current BLS/CPR certification; Experience with psychopharmacology, developmental disorders, and trauma-informed care strongly desired; Familiarity with integrated care or community mental health settings is a plus; Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
PREFERRED
One year of primary care patient care experience. Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or pediatric/family practice. PALS certification is encouraged.
