Role Description This is a temporary, on-site HVAC Assistant role based in Kissimmee, FL. The HVAC Assistant will support technicians with basic tasks such as preparing tools and materials, assisting with installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of residential air conditioning systems, and helping with light electrical-related tasks under supervision. Daily responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, organizing the work area, following safety procedures, and keeping workspaces clean and orderly. The role also involves communicating courteously with customers, taking direction from lead technicians, and documenting through pictures and video of the work performed before and after, as needed. The position is best suited for individuals interested in learning the HVAC trade and supporting a small, hands-on team in the field.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding or strong interest in HVAC systems, home air conditioning, and general electrical concepts.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely, and willingness to follow detailed technical instructions.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
