SUMMARY: The Receptionist is responsible for providing general non-certified screening of personnel and visitors as mandated by federal and state requirements, as well as answering phones, directing guests, and assisting our business office on tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Greet and assist residents, family members, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.

Maintain visitor logs and ensure adherence to facility security and infection control protocols.

Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.

Provide administrative support, including filing, copying, faxing, and data entry.

Communicate effectively with nursing, administrative, and support departments.

Maintain a neat and organized reception area.

Assist with new resident admissions by preparing welcome materials and notifying appropriate departments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following written and oral instructions.
- Preferred one (1) years’ experience working in the field of residential care, childcare or senior care.
