LPN or CMA, Dassel Clinic

Enjoy the special relationships a rural clinic has to offer! Rare opening at our Dassel Clinic. We are seeking a CMA or LPN to work at our Dassel Clinic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists the MD/PA to help patients maintain heal or promote healing. Performs patient care duties with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Performs technical skills specific to assigned service area and other areas as appropriate
• To provides quality service to all internal customers. Assists all support service areas, as needed
• Accepts responsibility for professional growth and continuing education
• Accepts responsibility and assures quality, cost effective patient care
• Performs clerical duties as assigned.
• Accepts responsibility for communication with all customers Uses proper verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families d other health disciplines to support the continuum of health are delivery.

Education, Training or Degree Required:

1. Medical Assistant Program Graduate or LPN registered in State MN

License/Registration/Certification Required: (will be primary source verified by HR)

• Current LPN license in the State of Minnesota or Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS (if not current, within 30 days of start date).

Experience and Skills: (indicate preferred or required)

• Previous Medical Assistant or LPN experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served, along with appropriate support services to MD and/or PA required. Familiarity with legal and insurance requirements related to documentation within the medical record required.
• Strong human relations, written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work without direct supervision.
