Last date to apply: We are continuously accepting applications This person is responsible for inbound receipt, verification and proper put away of small parts and equipment in a timely and accurate manner while following proper quality & safety guidelines. This position is critical for ensuring correct quantity of products are being received against correct purchases orders to maintain financial requirements and inventory levels. RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving Support (80%) • By use of forklift unload inbound materials • Review and report discrepancies and/or damaged items • Create inbound marker scan detail • By use of forklift move to appropriate storage location pending audit & verification • Audit by scanning in order to visually verify proper product and count of items. Report any discrepancies. • Place items into stock based on primary stocking locations • Proactively monitor, correct and update items being put into stock Quality/Safety (20%) • Ensure adherence to work instructions in relation to proper labeling, packaging, securing product as needed and storage of materials • Utilizing proper pallets and cartons for product being put away in adherence with work instructions to ensure a safe work environment • Proper startup safety checks of all equipment at the start of every shift • Utilize proper repacking of pallets and cartons along with ensuring proper cleanup of area in adherence with work instructions to ensure a safe work environment • Manage overall appearance of inventory by ensuring inventory is visually easy to see/read, count is accurate and material is safely stored COMPETENCIES • Customer point of view • Collaboration • Focus & Simplicity • Accountability • Innovation – sets high & sound performance targets Position-specific Competencies • Checking the details of work to ensure accuracy • Working cooperatively within team environment CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE • Working knowledge of current ERP system • Working knowledge of tablet & scanning system/equipment • Forklift certification (stand up and sit down) EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • At least 1-2 years previous experience working in a warehouse environment • Stand up and sit down forklift experience • Ability to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods of time WORKING CONDITIONS • Warehouse environment • Daily PC use • Continual reach truck/forklift activity • Time sensitive deadlines • Frequently lifting and push/pull up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs • Walking and standing for long periods of time on concrete floors (full shifts) This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only activities to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
