The Shop Service Technician maintains the Warranty Evaluation and Equipment Repair Center. This role oversees incoming equipment and parts for evaluation while delivering high quality repairs and technical data. This role operates in an efficient manor while setting industry benchmark standards.

The Shop Service Technician maintains the Warranty Evaluation and Equipment Repair Center. This role oversees incoming equipment and parts for evaluation while delivering high quality repairs and technical data. This role operates in an efficient manor while setting industry benchmark standards.
What You Need to Know:
- Oversee and maintain repair shop in accordance with Husqvarna policies and procedures
- Evaluate warranty parts and equipment and complete in-depth repair as required
- Maintain a clean and organized shop appearance, being visitor-ready at all times
- Provide regular feedback reports regarding trending repairs or issues to Technical Services in order to improve product and support with customer troubleshooting
- Assist and report Husqvarna warranty data
- Provide repair solutions for all channels of Husqvarna distribution as required
- Prepare for and assist with technical trainings
- Prepare product for sales shows
- Transfer Equipment from one location to another
- Minimum high school graduate or GED
- 1-3 years of engine or mechanical experience
- Experienced with electronic parts lookup systems, and electronic technical information environment
- 2 year Technical Vocational degree in related engine technologies and/or servicing Outdoor Power Equipment experience
- 10 years’ experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment (or equivalent) industry
- Certification from industry standard vendors. (Example: B&S, Kohler, Kawasaki)
- Strong initiative and the ability to be self-directed in prioritizing and completing tasks
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including overtime as business requires
- Developed computer navigational and organizational skills
- Physical demands: occasional repair shop and training duties requiring lifting up to 50 lbs. bending, stooping, etc. ability to operate turf care machinery
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time
