Material Handler (Rollform) 2nd shift

Payrate: $17.35 to $18.65 10% shift differential  Hours: 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday - Thursday with Mandatory OT on Friday and Saturday based on a business need.     Job Summary Perform general material handling duties throughout manufacturing. Duties may include loading, unloading, and stacking a variety of parts.   Essential Job Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate steel and/or plastic strapping equipment. Flexibility to perform a variety of material handling duties.   Essential Job Functions 1. Load various parts up to 50 lbs. to production equipment. Loading will include separating bundles to feed production equipment. Material may be loaded onto overhead or other conveyors to feed production equipment.   2. Remove various parts up to 50 lbs. from production equipment. Unloading will include removing parts from moving conveyors or other production equipment bundling for transport to the next work center or shipping.   3. Must be able to work in coordination with another material handler as many duties require working in teams of 2.   4. Operate steel banding equipment to band parts.   5. Must be able to work in different material handling positions as needed.   6. Perform other duties as needed such as cleaning and assisting operators with machine changes and maintenance. 7. Detect and report equipment malfunctions, unusual situations, and other problems to the team leader. Follow all safety rules, regulations and practices.
