Duties
- Prepare and fry or bake a variety of donuts, pastries, and baked goods following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, fryers, ovens, and proofers efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management protocols and sanitation procedures
- Assist with dough preparation, portioning, and high-volume production tasks to meet daily demand
- Support food handling procedures by practicing proper hygiene and safety practices at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure recipe adherence and product consistency
- Customer service mindset with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods during long shifts, with physical stamina for high-volume work
