Schedule: 13 hour shifts

We’re hiring a Full-Time/Part -Time to join our kitchen team at Hurricane Health & Rehab. In this role, you’ll help create a warm, nourishing environment for our residents by preparing meals that are both nutritious and comforting. You'll work closely with a supportive team that values quality care and meaningful connections.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve meals based on planned menus and standardized recipes
- Ensure food is flavorful, visually appealing, and aligns with residents’ dietary needs
- Follow portion guidelines and accommodate therapeutic diets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
- Assist with inventory and special meal prep for events or resident requests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure resident satisfaction
- Follow all food safety and infection control protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen is a plus, but not required
- Certification: Current Food Handler’s Permit (or willing to get one within the first week)
- Attributes: Dependable, compassionate, and enjoys working with seniors
- Skills: Able to follow recipes and communicate clearly in English
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and complete hands-on kitchen work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, odors, and cleaning products
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
