As the only not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system in the area, Dignity Health Nevada, guided by the Adrian Dominican Sisters' vision for over 70 years, continues to serve the Henderson and Las Vegas communities. The Siena Campus, a 326-bed acute care hospital opened in 2000, expanded the services of the Rose de Lima Campus to meet growing healthcare needs. St. Rose Dominican is part of Dignity Health, one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems, with over 9,000 physicians, 60,000 team members, and 400 care centers across 22 states, including hospitals, urgent care, imaging and surgery centers, home health, and primary care clinics. Pay Range
$26.14 - $26.14 /hour

To be successful in this role, you will possess proven experience in high-volume food preparation, a strong understanding of food safety and therapeutic diets, and a commitment to culinary excellence within a fast-paced setting.
- Prepares and serves food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements, using required kitchen utensils and equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, fryers, steamers, stove tops, and grills, etc. Modifies preparations to account for food allergies.
- Follows healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes. Avoids cross-contamination of foods and adheres to personal hygiene requirements.
- Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery.
- Performs washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation & cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
Required
- High School Graduate One (1) year food service experience, upon hire or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Food Handler Permit: NV, within 30 Days
