Facility Type: 6-Bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
Current Census: 3 residents

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy RCFE-certified Administrator who can also provide hands-on caregiving support on weekends. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with residents in a small, home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities Administrator Duties

• Ensure compliance with all California RCFE regulations
• Maintain resident records, care plans, and required documentation
• Communicate with families, physicians, and licensing agencies
• Oversee daily operations and ensure quality of care
• Support admissions, assessments, and service planning

Caregiver Duties (Weekend Coverage)

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Prepare and serve meals
• Administer medications (as permitted by certification)
• Monitor residents’ health and report any changes
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment

Schedule

• Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) required
• Additional flexibility or on-call availability is a plus

Qualifications

• Must be a certified RCFE Administrator in California
• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Ability to work independently in a small facility setting
