What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Huron Medical Center?
Responsibilities: Work front and back office, triage patients for multiple providers, schedule patients for imaging, obtain prior authorizations for imaging, referrals to other providers, test tracking, preparing charts for next day appointments, scanning and filing of medical records, and utilize the EMR system.
Qualifications: Excellent time management, teamwork, prioritizing, multiple tasking, communication skills, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
