Position Summary
Hurlbut Care Communities is seeking a full time Success Coach to support the healthcare staff across our 11 facilities.
This position will support staff well-being, skill development, and retention by providing personalized guidance around job-related challenges (burnout, patient care skills, homelife, finances), facilitate training, connect staff to resources, and building a positive workplace culture, ultimately improving employee engagement and care quality.
Day to day duties include mentoring new hires, leading workshops/trainings, identifying barriers (physical/mental), creating individualized plans, monitoring progress, partnering with management for workforce development, and acting as a vital link to retention and success in demanding roles.
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Employee Support & Mentorship: Building relationships, offering guidance, checking in, and helping staff manage professional lives and overcome barriers.
- Skill Development: Coaching on communication, time management, stress reduction, movement modification for physical tasks, and navigating complex care situations.
- Resource Navigation: Connecting employees with necessary community/health services, benefits, and support programs.
- Training & Onboarding: Delivering or coordinating training, updating materials, and ensuring smooth transition for new employees during their first months.
- Culture & Engagement: Fostering motivation, appreciation, and a positive environment, identifying areas for organizational improvement.
- Individualized Planning: Assessing needs, setting goals (personal/professional), and creating actionable plans for success.
- Advocacy: Acting as a liaison with HR, managers, and agencies to support employee needs and program goals.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, Social Work, Human Resources, or related field OR work experience equivalent
- At least two years in front line support role or work experience equivalent
- Ability to travel to our 11 facilities
