LOCATION OF WORK: Mackeben Elementary School
STARTING DATE: 2026 / 2027 School Year
WORK SCHEDULE: 10 Months / Full-Time
RANGE OF PAY: HEA Salary Schedule. Based on years of experience and education
BENEFITS: HEA, TRS, Voluntary Retirement, Insurance
CLASSIFICATION: HEA

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches students academic, social and motor skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy.Teacher may be co-teaching literacy and/or math classes, teaching a direct instruction small group literacy or math class, as well as supporting student's goals in a resource period.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Must hold an appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate LBS1 endorsement. Ideal candidate will have previous experience, a passion for skill-based studies, experience writing IEP goals, and an ability to lead IEP meetings.
