Position: Part-Time Passenger Services Agent
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
Schedule: 18 hours per week

Available Work Schedule

• Monday: 1:30 PM – Close
• Friday: 1:30 PM – Close
• Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week
• Weekends: As needed
• Holidays: Required

Position Summary

Passenger Services Agents provide assistance to airline passengers throughout the airport, including passengers requiring wheelchair assistance. Team members help ensure travelers reach their destinations safely while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from airline gates, ticketing areas, baggage claim, and curbside locations.
• Assist passengers requiring wheelchair services with care, dignity, and professionalism.
• Provide airport information and directions to passengers.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with passengers, airline personnel, and airport staff.
• Coordinate passenger assistance requests with dispatchers and gate agents.
• Complete wheelchair service logs and other required documentation.
• Report accidents, incidents, and unusual events promptly.
• Follow TSA regulations, airport security requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED may be required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Reliable transportation and a reliable telephone contact number.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and fingerprinting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required airport security credentials.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, squat, and stoop.
• Ability to push and maneuver wheelchairs throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced airport environment.

Training Requirements

• Complete all required Huntleigh USA and airline-specific training.
• Complete airport security and TSA-related training requirements.
• Participate in ongoing safety and operational training.

In-Person Interview Information

Interviews are conducted in person only.

Interview Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Interview Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM only
Interview Duration: Approximately 30 minutes

1. Please park in the airport parking deck. Parking costs $2.00 per hour. Parking is not validated.
2. Proceed to Baggage Claim Areas 3 & 4.
3. Upon arrival, please sit on the red bench.
4. Call 205-516-3174 and let the representative know you have arrived for your Passenger Services Agent interview.
5. Ask for Damien, Coach, or Constance Howard.
6. Bring two valid forms of identification (ID) to your interview.

Please arrive during the designated interview hours. Interviews are approximately 30 minutes long.
