Duties
- Utilize cutting-edge learning technology to create interactive lessons that enhance understanding and retention of complex topics.
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions to students of all ages, including children, teens, and adults, ensuring clarity and confidence in subject matter.
- Implement effective management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment during individual sessions.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes and practice exams; adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize results.
- Provide detailed feedback on student performance and recommend additional resources or strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, curriculum efforts, and student achievements to track progress over time.
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching ELA/Reading/Writing skills at various educational levels—high school through higher education—preferably with classroom experience.
- Familiarity with standardized test preparation such as SATs or ACTs.
- Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills necessary for virtual or hybrid tutoring sessions.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively while maintaining an energetic and motivating approach.
