What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Tutor position at Huntington Learning Center?

Huntington Learning Center of Livingston has immediate openings for full or part-time tutors!


There are no lesson plans for you to create. We provide the curriculum and books!


We are open:

Monday through Thursday: 3pm-9:30pm

Fridays: 2pm-8pm

Saturdays: 9am-5pm

Sundays: 10am-6pm


Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree

-Teaching certification (if working with kids PK-8th grade)

-Take a portion of the Math/Science or English/Reading section of our ACT if applying for the SAT or ACT tutoring positions (no teaching degree required)

-All session done from the center

-At least 10 hours of availability (Saturday or Sunday included)


Pay: $17-20/hr depending on position

Salary : $17 - $20
