Things to note:
- This position is onsite
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Pay Rate: $27.00
- Must be able to pass a Child Clearance application
What you will do:
- Serve as a resource and subject matter expert, providing guidance and leadership to tutors
- Lead and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding activities to ensure tutors are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
- Assist with scheduling, organizing, and coordinating tutoring sessions to ensure adequate coverage
- Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in subjects such as science, mathematics, English language arts, and test preparation (including SAT).
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, learning styles, and educational goals.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engage students in online or hybrid learning environments.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and session notes to track growth over time.
What you will need to have:
- 10 years experience in tutoring or teaching roles with a focus on curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Leadership experience
- Experience teaching test preparation strategies such as SAT coaching.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction methods.
- Experience working with children or adult learners in educational settings
- Bachelor’s Degree
