About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, warm communicator to handle inbound and outbound phone conversations with parents seeking academic help for their children. Your main goal is to help families understand what we offer and schedule Academic Evaluations — the first step in their child’s learning plan.
This position combines live call handling with proactive outreach to follow up with interested families and re-engage past leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and texts from prospective clients.
- Share information about our tutoring programs and guide families to schedule Academic Evaluations.
- Send payment links and record payments for booked evaluations.
- Follow up with “Inquired Not Enrolled” (INE) leads and reactivation lists.
- Log activity and outcomes in Airtable and MessageDesk.
- Communicate daily outcomes with our team via Slack.
Schedule
- 10–20 hours per week.
- Evenings preferred (3–8 PM), flexible schedule.
- On-site training required; remote work possible after training.
Qualifications
- Strong phone communication skills — confident, clear, and kind.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service preferred.
- Comfortable working with light scripts and adapting to each family’s needs.
- Organized, self-directed, and reliable.
- Comfortable using simple web tools (CRM, texting platform, etc.).
Compensation
- Combination of base hourly pay plus commission.
