Job Summary
Immediate Hire: We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact with our members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic office environment.
Job Tasks and Duties
- Answer incoming calls and digital inquiries; route communications appropriately and take accurate messages.
- Greet members, guests, visitors, and job applicants in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Provide general club information, schedules, and directions.
- Accept and manage dining, event, and facility reservations.
- Process food take-out orders.
- Maintain lobby displays, event postings, and the overall appearance of the reception area.
- Manage lost-and-found records.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail and courier services.
- Perform general office support tasks such as document preparation, filing, scanning, copying, and use of office equipment.
- Monitor lobby activity and report unauthorized visitors or security concerns.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for document creation, sharing, and email communication.
- Provide support in office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Design and print table signs for dinners and events.
- Manage the coat check for members during dinner service and special events.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service with a professional, welcoming, and courteous demeanor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency using modern phone systems, digital communication tools, and reservation software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond calmly and effectively when required.
- Proficient in using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Pay: $21.00 per hour
