Summary:
The Section Manager 3- Credit is responsible for the management of all activities for a significant function or area related to credit functions. They manage through section supervisors and/or subordinate managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establishes strategic plans that are in support of corporate goals and objectives.
• Implements new policies and procedures to make the area more efficient and in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions.
• Resolves issues that are strategic or compliance related.
• Provides directions in the establishment of new policies, procedures and technology.
• Monitors, analyzes and reports on the area productivity to senior management.
• Prepares, monitors, controls and reports on the area's performance.
• Establishes quality of service level for the area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years experience in accounting, finance, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
• Formal credit training and commercial banking underwriting experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skill set
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and ability and willingness to become proficient with critical proprietary systems
