The Registered Dietitian plans and delivers nutritional care to the patients. Conducts and implements comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients. Conducts and implements comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients
- Assesses, plans, writes and evaluates patient diets.
- Instructs and counsels patients on dietary restrictions/recommendations.
- Participates in multidisciplinary teams providing input regarding treatment plans and writing care plans.
- Monitors, records and communicates as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
At least two years clinical dietetics experience in LTC.
Bachelors Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition required.
Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Previous experience in Long term Care preferred.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Must have computer skills, to be able to work on Microsoft office.
Must know Point Click Care (PCC).
Have excellent customer service skills and is a team player.

Rates start at $80,000 and based on experience.
