Overview
I am seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Eating Disorder Dietitian to join my team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dietetics and a passion for promoting health and wellness through nutrition. I promotes HAES, and my practice revolves strongly around eating disorder counseling. I currently have another RD who see's non ED so this would be ED based. This role involves working closely with patients, primarily counseling based.
This job is starting at per diem/part time, but can move towards full time if wanted! :) We can grow together!
My caseload is overflowing so wanting to add another RD to my team to slowly build!
Pay is negotiable! :)
Duties
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop tailored dietary plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into overall patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about nutrition strategies, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics, physiology, and nutrition trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required..
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations related to nutritional status.
