What You’ll Do
As a Service Assistant, you’ll be responsible for assisting the service department staff in completion of various tasks and duties outlined below:
- Maintain shop tools and equipment and report any defects or malfunctions to service manager
- Travel to vendors for parts, shop tools and shop supplies
- Maintain and upkeep of facility interior and exterior to include lot maintenance
- Assist service technicians on major repairs
- Maintain safe work environment
- Ensure that customer vehicle appearance is satisfactory after repairs have been completed
- Maintain and clean company vehicles and report to service manager any defects
- Clean interior and exteriors of new and used trucks for customer deliveries
- Weekly starting of new and used trucks
- Work in a team environment
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–6 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)
Physical Requirements
- Regular walking, standing, and sitting
- Regular lifting/moving of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting/moving of up to 100 lbs
