What You’ll Do
As a Parts Counter Person, you’ll be the go-to expert helping customers and our shop team get the parts they need. You will:
- Assist retail and shop customers with parts needs in a friendly, professional way
- Provide price quotes, answer questions, and manage backorders
- Pull, fill, and ship orders accurately
- Order out-of-stock and special parts as needed
- Keep customers updated on order status
- Support outside sales and internal service teams
- Receive payments, process credits, and maintain records
- Help track inventory and keep counter areas organized
- Stay current on new products and training opportunities
- Promote safety, teamwork, and a positive work environment
What We’re Looking For
- One year certificate from College or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Customer-service focus and strong communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Valid Driver’s License required (must meet company insurability standards)
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing & walking
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
Bonus Points For:
- Prior parts, automotive, or mechanical experience
- ASE or Truck Parts Certifications (preferred, not required)
