???? Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
SUMMARY
The primary function of a parts assistant is to be available to assist all parts department employees as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Keeps warehouse (all parts storage areas) and dock area clean, safe and organized at all times.
- Pick orders according to invoice or packing slip and prepare for shipment via UPS, Hunter delivery, customer pick up, etc.
- Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Proper use of personal protective equipment is required. Operate all machinery, tools and equipment in a safe manner. Advise parts manager if there is anything in need of repair.
- Daily disposes of used cardboard, skids and garbage in warehouse.
- Deliver parts to/from customers or suppliers, using a company vehicle, as requested.
- Work in a team environment.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge required. Must be able to complete and pass OSHA approved forklift training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards
Ability to obtain DOT medical card
