Pay: 2nd Shift is eligible for a pay differential
What You’ll Do
As a CAT Diesel Technician, you will perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, from routine work to advanced diagnostics. Your responsibilities include:
- Perform routine and advanced maintenance and repairs independently or as part of a team
- Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions, ensuring work meets dealership and factory standards
- Assist with major repairs and collaborate with other technicians on complex issues
- Communicate with parts department to obtain required components
- Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests
- Complete detailed documentation for all repairs and warranty claims
- Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance
- Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins and specifications
- Work as part of a team to meet customer needs and deliver exceptional service
What We’re Looking For
- CAT experience or certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)
- Vocational/technical school training or equivalent preferred
- Automotive or medium/heavy-duty truck experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands and arms
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, frequent lifting up to 100 lbs
