Accounting Specialist (AP & AR)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of journal entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing process tasks as assigned.
• Set up and maintain records for new customer credit checks for AR.
• Assist with audit task as assigned.
• Responsible for overseeing daily AP/AR for accuracy.
• Revise/Create/Document accounting processes as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 5 years minimum experience in accounting or finance.
• Prior experience in manufacturing needed.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  
  

Solid communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience With QuickBooks Preferred.

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
