Position Responsibilities Include
- Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, coding, and timely vendor payments
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll while maintaining payroll records and reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Review and maintain employee labor hours to ensure accurate labor costing
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with month-end close
- Support annual audits by preparing schedules and required documentation
- Monitor manufacturing costs, labor costs, inventory transactions, and overhead allocations
- Assist with maintaining standard costing, BOMs, and production reporting
- Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as needed
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional accounting experience
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience processing payroll from start to finish
- Hands-on cost accounting experience, including labor costing and manufacturing cost analysis
- Familiarity with inventory accounting, standard costing, BOMs, and production reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline is a plus)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
