About the RoleHUNT Tech, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to serve as the face and voice of the brand within the hunting and outdoor community.
This person will lead HUNT’s day-to-day social media engagement, grow our affiliate and influencer network, develop strategic brand partnerships, manage public relations efforts, and represent the company at trade shows, hunts, creator gatherings, and industry events.
The Director of Marketing leads paid media, email marketing, analytics, and campaign planning. The Community Manager owns the relationships, the audience, and HUNT’s presence both in the feed and in the field.
What You’ll Do- Manage HUNT’s day-to-day online community by responding to comments and direct messages and creating meaningful conversations with followers.
- Proactively engage with customers, fans, creators, and members of the broader hunting and outdoor community.
- Source, organize, and manage user-generated content for use across HUNT’s marketing channels.
- Build, recruit, and manage HUNT’s affiliate, influencer, ambassador, and pro-staff programs.
- Identify creators and partners who authentically align with the HUNT brand and outdoor lifestyle.
- Negotiate partnership deliverables, content usage rights, compensation, product arrangements, and performance expectations.
- Track the engagement, referral traffic, sales, and overall performance generated by affiliates and partnerships.
- Develop co-marketing, sponsorship, and promotional partnerships with outdoor brands, organizations, events, and media properties.
- Build relationships with hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and outdoor media.
- Secure product coverage, reviews, interviews, and other earned-media opportunities.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, talking points, and other public-relations materials as needed.
- Represent HUNT at trade shows, hunts, creator meetups, sponsorship activations, and industry events.
- Help coordinate event logistics, booth presence, product representation, and on-site relationship building.
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing to align partnerships and community activity with product launches, paid campaigns, and the content calendar.
- Regularly report on community growth, affiliate performance, partnership activity, and program results.
- At least one year of experience in community management, influencer or affiliate marketing, public relations, brand partnerships, or a related role.
- Experience within the hunting, shooting sports, fishing, or broader outdoor industry is strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships with outdoor influencers, creators, media contacts, brands, or industry organizations are a major plus.
- A strong understanding of social media culture and how outdoor audiences communicate, discover products, and build trust with brands.
- Experience negotiating and managing influencer, affiliate, ambassador, or brand-partnership agreements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence serving as a public-facing representative of the brand online, at events, and in conversations with partners and media.
- The ability to build genuine relationships while also tracking performance and delivering measurable results.
- Willingness and enthusiasm for travel to trade shows, hunts, creator events, and partner activations.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent industry experience, relationships, and demonstrated ability will be strongly considered.
The right candidate is outgoing, organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable moving between social media conversations, partnership negotiations, media outreach, and live industry events.
You should understand that building a community is more than increasing follower counts. It means earning trust, creating authentic relationships, finding the right voices to represent the brand, and making sure HUNT shows up credibly wherever the outdoor community gathers.
