What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Manufacturing Estimator position at Hunt Electric?
Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Electrical Manufacturing Estimator position to join our team in our Salt Lake City office. We are seeking a full time qualified candidate to be responsible for all aspects of bidding electrical work.
The position of Electrical Manufacturing Estimator requires a high level of electrical manufacturing experience, and customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with manufacturing and data center and an electrical background is preferred.
Major Duties:
- Ability to manage multiple high-revenue projects.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
- Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Be a self-starter and be dependable.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manger.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five plus years of electrical construction, design, finance, and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical project management experience required.
- A licensed electrician or an electrical background required.
- Must be able to multi-task. Bid multiple projects at a time.
- Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills are essential.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and Bluebeam.
- Experience managing projects and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical or manufacturing, design, finance, and management required.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm.
