Your Impact
As a Staff Accountant in Client Advisory Services, you'll support a diverse portfolio of business and nonprofit clients across West Michigan. How You Will Add Value
- Perform routine accounting functions and balance sheet reconciliations for client accounts
- Manage accounts payable processes and maintain vendor records
- Process payroll and payroll tax reporting activities
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and on time
- Assist with annual information reporting requirements, including 1099 filings
- Develop proficiency in client accounting and workflow technologies, including QuickBooks Online, BILL, Gusto, and Asana
- Monitor project budgets, deadlines, and client expectations
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal team members to ensure excellent service delivery
- Support special accounting, reporting, and advisory projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Completion of a previous accounting internship or relevant accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
