What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Sales Associate position at Humphrey's Paint Center?
We are looking for a qualified candidate to perform all functions of sales for our growing customer base. Responsibilities will include interaction with Paint Contractors, Pro Builders and Homeowners. Prior experience is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication with Painters, Builders, Homeowners, HBS Sales staff and suppliers to work through customer job needs.
· Quoting of products using our POS system.
· Presenting job quotes through email correspondence.
· Placing of paint special orders.
· Keep store clean, stocked, and well merchandised at all times.
· Custom mixing of paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colors.
- Assist and participate in HBS events including occasional evening events.
- Attend trainings and take advantage of self-learning opportunities to increase knowledge and stay up to date on changes.
Qualifications:
· Computer and technology skills including:
o Microsoft Word and Outlook.
o Quoting software
o Researching and gathering of technical information on websites
· Good knowledge of paint and sundries.
· Good communication skills both verbal and written
· Ability to work with a team.
· Ability to work independently.
