Job Summary
Perform all functions of service work for our main window line Marvin, from our Middletown and Tiverton locations. Responsibilities will include correspondence and interaction with Contractors, Homeowners, Humphreys staff and Marvin’s service personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform product repairs and preventative maintenance on Marvin windows and door products.
- Generate Document and submit inspection reports when required.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and analyze customer complaints to determine the cause.to ensure effective and timely repair or resolution of the problem.
- Communicate and administer product warranty policies to customer.
- Be able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
- Meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.
- Assist and participate in HBS events including occasional evening events
- Attend trainings and take advantage of self-learning opportunities to increase knowledge and stay up to date on changes
Qualifications:
- Computer and technology skills including:
o Microsoft Word and Outlook.
o Quoting & Ordering software-
o Researching and gathering of technical information on websites
o Smartphone with the ability to text, email and use various apps
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals.
- Millwork knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
- Background in carpentry/construction is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- · Willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
