What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Hummel Eye Associates?
Looking for an amazing Ophthalmic Technician with a GREAT ATTITUDE to work at an equally amazing practice! COA or COT preferred, but not required. Duties include gathering of chief complaint, visual acuities, pupil assessment, cover testing, refractometry, tonometry (Goldmann and tonopen), anterior chamber assessment and instillation of eyedrops. Performing biometry, OCT, visual fields, pachymetry, corneal topography, OPTOS and prior authorizations are also part of the job description. Experience assisting the surgeon with LASIK procedures and / or experience in optical such as contact lens training and frame styling would be helpful but not required.
