What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative - Fulltime position at Humboldt Park Health?
- Performs accurate and complete registration for appointments.
- Verifies patient insurance for all services rendered and obtains required referrals or pre authorization as needed.
- Collects necessary payment from patients at time of service.
- Provides and contributes to the delivery of a positive patient experience and receives and communicates all complaints to the manager.
- Prepares charts or patient records for clinical team as needed.
Requirements
1 or more years of experience
Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred
Customer service experience required.
Healthcare experience preferred.
