POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resource Specialist assists with driving culture by communicating benefits, leaves, recruitment, new hire orientation, and assisting leaders with understanding and enforcing human resources policies and practices.

Recruiting new talent (intake, sourcing, screening/interviewing, offers/negotiation)

Liaison between hiring manager and recruitment agencies in the hiring of contract, traveler, and permanent positions.

Manage, organize, and facilitate New Hire Orientation.

Manage employee status change requests

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.

Create and revise job descriptions in collaboration with department managers

Conduct exit interviews and trend voluntary resignations.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Assists with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotions.

Enter Data accurate and timely, all systems.

Tracking licensure and certifications

Answering phones, emails, and verification of employment requests

Process fingerprinting outside of the new hire process.

Mange all new hire onboarding.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school diploma
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in Human Resources with demonstrated domain expertise in recruiting, employee relations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
