This is a non-exempt hourly position full-time or part-time. Scheduled hours may vary based on demand. Essential Functions

Warehouse

-Process, load orders accurately and timely for deliveries, customer pick-ups, hand off to freight carriers.

-Pulling materials, packing boxes, placing processed orders in the delivery area.

-Accurately counting stock location inventory.

-Maintain a safe and clean work environment by maintaining shelves, pallet areas, workstations free of debris.

-Clean general warehouse areas and walk in refrigerators with cleaning supplies and equipment.

-Operate software systems through various platforms.

-Operate a forklift to move, loading and unloading deliveries including cans, kegs, keg collars.

-Understand warehouse management concepts and flows, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving.

-Cleaning, washing, picking up of areas as needed.

Delivery

-Safely drive a truck or van to complete deliveries to and from company retail locations.

-Verify vehicle daily safety inspection.

-Accurately verify delivery invoices, routes, and delivery times.

-Load and unload deliveries at warehouse and at delivery destinations.

-Able to communicate clearly and efficiently, collaborate with peers, and managers. Able to analyze data and make informed decisions.

-Complete deliveries as needed this may be from time-to-time short notice deliveries.

-Communicate clearly with customer’s placing and receiving orders.

-Ability to problem solve on the spot in continuously changing circumstances.

-Driving delivery radius up to 100-150 miles, generally within 20-30 miles.

-Able to safely operate GPS navigation system.

Requirements

-Valid and current California Driver’s License.

-Background check as permitted by law including driving record.

-Forklift certification preferred.

-Ability to communicate clearly.

-Follow all safety guidelines while in the warehouse. Follow all traffic safety rules and regulations including proper parking while delivering.

-Follow all meal and rest break period state requirements.

Work and physical environment

This position requires working in a large area surrounded by pallets, heavy items, kegs, shelves, in a brightly lit warehouse. When needed entering a very low temperature storage cooler may be necessary. Operating heavy machinery or being around heavy machinery. The area may be loud from time to time due to cooling equipment, forklift, and heavy items moving around. From time to time, it may be required to work outside to load and unload deliveries this may include wind, wet, or sunny conditions. Employees may be stationary for extended periods of time, may need to position self-up high, reach low, bend back and knees, and enter and exit vehicles. It may be necessary to lift up to 65 pounds occasionally. While driving employees may experience windy and wet road conditions, traffic, longer than expected delivery routes, road re-routes. Skid and slip resistant foot wear and appropriate clothing may be required.
