Registered Nurse (RN) IV Infusion Therapy

Our ideal candidate resides in the Elk Grove, CA area, in order to provide quick service for our mobile IV calls. Travel for mobile IV calls may also include the following surrounding areas (Greater Sacramento area, Lodi, Galt, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Natomas).

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Administering IV and injection therapies/medications
• Instruct individuals on topics such as health education and general preventative health measures such as diet and exercise.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and health records.
• Being able to function in the heat of emergency and act according to protocol.
• Works with Facilities Manager to maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Keeps the clinic in compliance with Humble Hydration inspections before and after each shift.
• Extends exceptional customer service and patient care.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and clean environment for clients.
• Responsible for routine refrigerator temperature checks and documentation in clinic.
• Responsible for ensuring expiration dates are noted on Vitamins and supplies as needed.
• Maintains documentation of patient care services.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned by management staff.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of IV Clinic procedures
• Proficient patient charting system, scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skill
• Must have weekend availability for mobile IV's.
• Must have confidence with IV skills.
• Create your own hours and schedule.

Education and Experience:

• Valid CA Nurse License with no sanctions.
• Current BLS required, ACLS a plus.
• Aesthetics experience a plus.
• BSN or diploma in nursing.
• Two years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to traverse throughout clinic/mobile without difficulty.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)
