Compensation for the Accounting Assistant
· $25 Per Hour
· Part-Time Monday – Friday, 10 am – 2 pm (Flexible)
Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments
· Perform job costing and project-based accounting
· Process and manage payroll
· Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies
· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
· Track and manage permits and related documentation
· Collaborate with internal teams to monitor budgets vs. actual project costs
· Maintain organized financial records and reports
Requirements of the Accounting Assistant
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum 3 years accounting experience in construction or electrical industry
· Minimum of 5 years experience with Payroll processing, Account reconciliations, Permit tracking and compliance
· Proficient in BildOps, QuickBooks, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive) Salesforce experience is a plus
· Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting
· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
