What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at HumanEdge?
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to support the production processing of our dairy product lines. This manager will be responsible for maintaining the dairy production equipment and efficiently minimizing down time for the company. The Manager will work in conjunction with the Production Manager to oversee all of the day to day operations, including but not limited to all production processing, food safety, managing a team, proper equipment sanitation and maintaining the equipment including PM's.
Responsibilities:
Complete ownership of maintence of the dairy processing equipment.
Working with the existing team of 10 staff members and driving them to produce at the highest standards.
Working with Production Manager, Quality Control Manager & Food Scientist to ensure all dairy products meet food safety/quality standards.
Prepare weekly reports on equipment up time.
Identify ways to improve and increase production and a reduction in losses.
Create preventative maintenance schedules to ensure maximum uptime.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience working in a production or similar environment, food & dairy manufacturing is a plus.
3 years of experience managing a team.
Bi-lingual Spanish
Good Computer skills and familiarity with programs and software such as Microsoft Windows, MS Office Suite, Netsuite, etc.
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's or Trade School degree a plus
Hands on electrical & mechanical experience is a must.
