Employee Relations Senior Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with the Director, Employee Relations, HR Compliance & Leave team to build a strategic Employee Relations Center of Excellence.Collaborate with and be the go-to resource for HR Business Partners for all Employee Relations issues, offering guidance on performance improvement matters, complex employee situations, and involuntary terminations.Provide advice and support to management on disciplinary actions, terminations and other employee relations matters.Guide managers in drafting performance improvement plans and termination documentation.Resolves, guides and facilitates difficult conversations, including involuntary terminations.Use solid judgment and discretion when responding to grievances.Manage investigations related to complex employee relations issues.Counsels HR colleagues and managers on trending employee relations issues, potential risks to the organization, and ways to mitigate risk.Conduct training/information sessions on employee relations topics such as harassment and workplace behavior.Review and analyze employee relations case data and other key metrics to identify trends and partner with cross-functional colleagues to develop strategies for improvement.Reviews reduction-in-force documentation, providing guidance to the HRBPs and managers, minimizing risk to the organization.Ensure cases are properly logged in the Employee Relations case management system.Lead and work on HR Operations projects, implementations and initiatives.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulatory changes and best practices to remain compliant and use this information to identify opportunities to inform and educate relevant stakeholders in the organization. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.10 years' professional Human Resources experience.5 years' experience managing varied employee relations issues and conducting investigations.Able to effectively collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.Working knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource administration.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills.Excellent writing skills.Highly detail oriented and organized.Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity to communicate and collaborate work efforts with other colleagues.Demonstrated knowledge of employment law standards and workplace investigation protocol.Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and deal with conflict with employees and managers.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in MS Office computer programs including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications:Strong presentation skills.Experience using HR Acuity, ServiceNow and Workday.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
