Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and families with professionalism and warmth.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out efficiently.
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Scan, file, and maintain confidential patient documentation.
- Assist with general administrative duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Travel between two Houston office locations as business needs require.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and general computer applications.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at either office location.
Preferred
- At least one year of front desk, dental office, or medical office experience.
- Experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar practice management software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Compensation
- $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time W-2 position
