This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sheboygan, WI, for a Director of Veterinary Medicine. The Director of Veterinary Medicine will oversee and provide medical care for shelter animals to ensure their well-being and health, comply with best practices for veterinary medicine, and manage preventive care, diagnoses, and treatments. Responsibilities include performing surgeries such as spay and neuter procedures, working collaboratively with shelter staff and volunteers, developing and implementing health protocols, and serving as a resource for animals in foster care or under community outreach programs. The role also requires maintaining accurate medical records and contributing to the education and training of staff in animal care practices.
