Full Time Veterinary Assistant Position or part time (with limited benefits) available at our privately owned small animal veterinary practice. Responsibilities include assisting veterinarians and technicians with appointments and surgeries, client communication, lab work, assisting with x rays and reception duties.
Come join our team of 2 veterinarians, 2 Certified Veterinary Technicians, Office Manager, Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists. Our hospital strives to offer the best care for our canine and feline patients. We have a full Idexx in house lab, digital x ray, surgical laser, therapy laser, dental x ray and computerized medical records.
Our ideal candidate will be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with alongside our experienced team. Must be proficient in computer skills and phone etiquette. Excellent communication skills a must. Experience working in a veterinary setting required .
40 hour full time hour workweek. Hours are variable, with alternating Saturday mornings and Wednesday hours from 10am - 7pm. get one full day off a week and 1/2 day off alternate week if part time can have a variable work schedule
