As a custodian, you'll support our mission by providing a safe and clean space for animals and our community. An ideal candidate is punctual, prepared to work, respectful, and task oriented.
In this role you will:
- Maintain tile floors through stripping, buffing, and refinishing
- Sweeps and mops all public areas, other than kennel areas
- Clean and scrub carpeted areas as needed
- Maintain the security and maintenance of equipment and tools
- Keep accurate records of work and scheduled services for equipment
- Receive, load, and unload supplies as needed
- Set up tables, chairs, and furniture for events and meetings
- May help with snow removal from sidewalk areas as needed
- Provide assistance with supply procurement
- May occasionally assist at our Maryland Heights location
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience of up to three months in a related field
- Possession of a valid Driver's License is required
